Freedom was establish in 1999 as Vernon’s Premier Tattoo Studio.
Over the past 20 years, Freedom Studios has been home to many of the Okanagan’s finest artists,
including our Owner and Artist Riley Armstrong.
Riley has been tattooing for the better part of a decade, before beginning his tattoo apprenticeship,
he was a Master Carpenter and his eye for measurement and attention to detail have translated into his current craft.
Riley hand draws all of his custom tattoos and is a highly skilled and sought after cover artist.
He is adept in every style and is continuously expanding his portfolio with large,
captivating pieces which demonstrate his ability to create movement within a tattoo,
artfully designed to compliment and flow with the natural contours of the body.

Riley and his staff make you feel welcomed the moment you enter their shop., Great atmosphere as well. When you first decide on your tattoo you are given lots of different options and ideas which really helps if your not sure what you want exactly. And finally the work is amazing, I couldn't have been happier. I have got three tattoos so far and plan on getting all my work done there! Keep up the great work, you guys are awesome!

My husband and I went in just days before our 18 th wedding anniversary. Lacy booked us right away for a consultation . We were being tattooed within the week. We are in love with our matching Anniversary Tattoos done by the wildly talented Riley Armstrong. Our hats are off to both of you. Awesome customer service. Very clean and comfortable establishment.
